Surface Water Quality Sampling for TMDL Prioritization

This project included the development and implementation of a surface water quality sampling plan to prioritize the future implementation of best mangement practice (BMP) projects to improve the water quality of the Banana River and Indian River Lagoon. Field sampling focused on nutrient data, since the current TMDL is based on seagrass impairment caused by eutrophication. The project included site and parameter selection, sampling of in situ parameters and laboratory parameters using FDEP approved SOPs, data analysis and reporting.
