Applied Ecology is continuing to grow. Welcome, Cody Burns, to our AEI team! Cody joins our field environmental services team and brings two years of field experience in gopher tortoise relocation, wetland delineation, and sea turtle light monitoring projects. He has completed a BS in Coastal Environmental Science from Flagler College and is currently completing his MS in Marine Science from Jacksonville University. He has performed research and published on coastal and water resources topics such as carbon accumulation rates near constructed oyster reefs and isotopic biogeochemistry of the Savannah River. Cody will be able to apply his research and field skills to support AEI’s interdisciplinary projects.
