Please help us in welcoming Nick Eide, Sr. Environmental Scientist/Project Manager, to our growing Applied Ecology team!

Nick comes to Applied Ecology, Inc. with 15 years of experience as a Senior Ecologist and Project Manager. His expertise includes conducting surveys for special-status species, aquatic resources delineations, preparing environmental documents and document sections (e.g., NEPA documents), and preparing permit applications and supporting documentation (e.g., Clean Water Act Sections 404 and 401, Endangered Species Act Section 7 and Section 10 biological assessments and habitat conservation plans). Nick graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.S. in Biology in 2008 with an emphasis in Marine Biology, is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist, and actively attends professional workshops, training programs, and conferences.

Nick is a California native that recently relocated to Florida to be closer to family. In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys, coaching baseball, being outdoors, and relaxing at the beach.
