As noted in the Executive Order Number 20-91 issued by the State of Florida Office of the Governor, all persons in Florida shall limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities. This Executive Order does not apply to businesses deemed essential.

Applied Ecology falls under several of those essential service categories including Government Infrastructure Support Services in the following sectors: water and wastewater, public works, and information technology systems.  Specifically, this exception applies to individuals working in the critical infrastructure sector while or during the course of employment in and performing their work in that sector.

We are aware this requirement does not limit the number of individuals that may be present while performing the essential services, as long as they practice social distancing defined as keeping at least six (6) feet apart and limiting group size to less than ten (10) people.

We look forward to continuing to provide our services in support of our local communities during this difficult time. If you have any questions, please do not hestitate to contact us!
